After years of working with tax and estate planning clients whose financial advisors often lacked a fundamental understanding of the importance of tax planning or sought to profit off their clients by selling them high-commission products, Mark Milton launched his own financial advisory firm to better serve his law firm’s existing tax and estate planning clients.
Armory Oak acts as a fiduciary, meaning the firm is bound to act in the best interests of its clients. We do not receive commissions for selling products to clients but are compensated on a fee-only basis.
Our Mission
Armory Oak’s mission is to provide tax efficient and comprehensive wealth management services. How do we accomplish our mission?
Plant. Protect. Prosper.
Plant – Any good farmer takes a strategic approach to planting his or her crop by mapping out the tillable land and planting crops in the most efficient way possible to achieve the greatest harvest.
We believe regular investing (as early and often as possible) is the best way to achieve your long-term financial goals. As part of our financial planning services, we advise clients on how to build wealth in a tax-optimized way.
Protect - Plants need protection from the elements, as do your investments and financial plan. Taxes, like pests to crops, can be one of the greatest impediments to long-term growth and prosperity.
Taxes should factor into almost every investment decision, which is why we believe it so important to work with a financial advisor who has an intimate understanding of your tax situation.
Working with our estate planning partners also helps to ensure our clients’ assets are protected from probate and would-be creditors and their legacies preserved.
Prosper – To prosper means having a financial plan that will ensure you long-term financial freedom and the ability to make decisions in a way that achieves happiness.
Leaving a legacy necessarily includes making sure you have an estate plan in place to protect your assets from creditors and ensure the orderly passing of your assets in a private manner by avoiding probate.
